Psyllium Fiber? What's that??

For those of you who are already taking psyllium husk-hurray for those! The rest of you should add it to your grocery list!

Psyllium fiber comes from the husk, which is the outside covering the seed of a plantago ovato plant, which is a grain. When added to a liquid substance (in a glass or in your body) Psyllium fiber turns into a gel that helps remove waste and some cholesterol.

I use Psyllium husk in my morning shakes to help thicken them. Increase your fiber uptake the natural way!

Connie's Energizing Morning Smoothie

1/2 cup of water
1 scoop MRM Natural Whey Protein
4 Big frozen strawberries
2 Tbsp. ground flax seed
1 cup frozen spinach
Cinnamon
3 tbsp. psyllium husk
1 scoop Green + 8000

Blend and enjoy the energy you will have throughout the day!
